I'm feeling extremely guilty at the moment
I'm just sitting here feeling the gust of air conditioning while others are basking under the unneeded heat that they have.
Eating leaving leftovers, while others live on scraps and crumbs treasuring each piece as if it was gold.
Drinking water while never appreciating it, while others are lucky enough to find a sip of water with only a slight tinge of dirt.
I'm just sitting here complaining of a simple sickness while others are ill with no medication that might even cause death or being crippled for the rest of their lives.
Complaining about the schools that we have while others live uneducated, reducing their chance of ever finding a job to support their very survival.
Realizing how truly selfish I've been.
I'm sick of feeling helpless. Not doing anything, while others are sparing their time to help others.
I've been reading e-mails of dog butchering, dogs being abused, dogs being used as shark bait!
It's truly gruesome how some are so tied up in their own feelings to care about those who suffer more. Even more disgusting as how some people can hurt others without a second thought, not even a guilty conscience or a single action to redeem themselves.
Wars are being fought. For what reason exactly? For money? For land? For what reason good enough to jeopardize the life of your citizens? To cause many to lose homes?
God, please send blessings to those in famine, war times, homeless, abused, neglect among many others. God please provide them with hope, hope to survive.
